Privacy and cookies

If you click Accept on our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools are used, such as the trip planner or the random trip generator. This helps us decide what to improve.

If you click Decline, Google Analytics does not store cookies on your device. We do not use advertising cookies.

We send simple usage events to Google Analytics (for example, that a trip plan was completed). We do not send names, emails or anything you type into the site.

Trip plans you generate are saved so you can come back to them from their link. They contain the choices you made, such as budget, dates, departure city and riding preferences.

If you create or join a crew, the name, budget and preferences you enter are visible to the other people in that crew.

If you create an account, we store the details you sign up with so you can log in.

We store small pieces of data in your browser so the site works: your cookie choice, which crew member you are in a crew you joined, and temporary trip plans if saving fails.

Snow Trip Planner is hosted on Base44. Weather and snow figures on resort pages are requested from a public weather service when you view them. Booking links take you to other websites, which have their own privacy policies.
